We open on the 4th July.
We will have a strict one way system around the village and for the refreshment hut/toilets.
Picnic tables will be suitably spaced out for you to enjoy an ice cream or treat or a lovely coffee or cold drink. Unfortunately we will not be able to provide the free crazy golf due to social distancing\hygiene problems and the sensory garden may be closed due to social distancing.
The village will be marked out in 5 metre bays (even if the distance is relaxed so you know you can visit safely with hand sanitising stations positioned at the entrance /exit /toilets and thoughout the gardens themselves to keep you as safe as possible.
All our staff will be issued with appropriate PPE and may remind visitors to keep their distance if needed.
The management have completed a course and received a certificate in preventing the spread of Coronavirus.
All hard surfaces will be regularly cleaned with Virabact (a cleaner which has been proven to kill Corona Virus) and UV light systems will be used in the gift shop to help kill any virus/bacteria on the products. We want you to be as safe as possible.

We are Wheelchair friendly for chairs up to 26.5" wide and we do have a loan wheelchair available. Prices are as above with one registered carer per disabled visitor charged at £4.00. We also have toilet facilities for the disabled.
Paths are quite narrow, but single buggies and wheelchairs have easy access. We are sorry, but unfortunately double buggies are too wide to fit round the paths. We are pleased to welcome dogs into the Model Village as long as they are kept on a leash and under control at all times.

5 star - A lovely day with buxton brownies the girls loved themodel village and the quiz. Spent several hours looking at the sites then fun in the old penny arcade. The staff couldnt have looked after us any better we felt like royalty.
